AFCON U23 TOURNAMENT Afcon U23: Ghana possess formidable offensive threat – Morocco’s Charai

Morocco coach Issame Charai has admitted Ghana will prove a real threat to his side when they face off in the Caf U23 Africa Cup of Nations fixture at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Tuesday.

The young Atlas Lions opened their Group A campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Guinea while the Black Meteors secured a 3-2 victory against Congo Brazzaville. Ahead of their clash against Ghana, Charai admitted it will not be an easy game, but promised to do everything to get victory.

“We analysed Ghana’s match against Congo. They possess a formidable offensive threat and display remarkable speed. However, we also identified areas of vulnerability within their team,” said Charai as quoted by CafOnline, adding: “We must remain focused, start the game strongly, and bear in mind that we are playing on home soil. Disappointing our nation is not an option.”
