Nigeria Super Eagles Move A Step Forward In Latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Ranking

In the most recent men’s rankings, which were posted on the FIFA website on Friday, the Super Eagles moved up one spot.

The team led by Jose Peseiro went up one spot, to 39th.

In their lone match in June, the Super Eagles defeated the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone 1-0.

However, the three-time African champs are still sixth on the continent.

The Terangha Lions of Senegal and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia are in second and third place in the continent, respectively, behind the Atlas Lions of Morocco, who currently hold the top spot.

The final two teams in the top five are the Egyptian Pharaoh and the Algerian Desert Foxes.

Argentina, who is now the world champion, continues to be ranked first, followed by France, Brazil, England, and Belgium, who round out the top five.

On July 20, the following FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be released.
