Nigeria NNL Super 8: Draws Reveals EFCC Vs Kano Pillars For Opening Game

The battle for qualification to next season Nigeria Premier League among the last eight teams in the Nigeria National League NNL Super 8 kick off on Sunday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba.

The draws for the NNL Super 8 was held at the conference hall of the Stephen Keshi Stadium.

The NNL Super 8 draws pitched teams from the Northern Conference in Group A while teams from the Southern conference are in Group B.

The opening game of the NNL Super 8 playoff will see EFCC take on Kano Pillars by 9am while the second game in Group A will be between Katsina United and DMD FC at 11am.

The Southern Conference games opening game will see Sporting Lagos take on FC One Rocket of Uyo by 2pm while the game between Heartland and Stormer FC of Abeokuta will come up by 4pm.

According to the Chief Operating Officer, Emmanuel Adesanya, said the purpose of not playing the competition in a round robin format was to allow two teams from each conference gain promotion to the NPL.

There will be two rest day for all teams on July 4 after Matchday 2 fixtures and July 6 after the last group games while the final of the NNL Super 8 has been scheduled for Friday July 7 .
