FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP Super Falcons Arrive Australia Ahead Of FIFA Women’s World Cup

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have arrived in Australia in preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023.

From July 20 to August 20, the exhibition will be hosted throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Glory Ogbonna, a defender with the Super Falcons, tweeted the news of the group’s arrival.

All of the group games for the team coached by Randy Waldrum will take place in Australia.

They are grouped with the hosts Australia, the Republic of Ireland, and Canada in Group B.

The opening game for the Nigerian team will take place on July 21 at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium versus Canada.

Since the first FIFA Women’s World Cup was held in China in 1991, only one African team, the Super Falcons, has competed in every tournament.
