A Saudi Pro League side has offered Sadio Mane a three-year contract as the 31-year old’s future is being cloudy at Bayern Munich.

Only a year after his arrival in Germany, Mane could leave the country this summer.

The former Liverpool star signed a three-year contract until June 2025 with Bayern Munich but the club wants to sell him already after his first season was not convincing.

As Africa Top Sports reported it on Tuesday, Saudi side Al-Ettifaq is showing interest in signing Mane with their coach Steven Gerrard keen on making him the team’s captain.

However, a new club from the Middle East is also on the list to sign him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Al Ahli wants to reunite Sadio Mane with countryman Edouard Mendy and his former Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino.

Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto adds that that the club offers Mane a 3-year contract and negotiations are expected to start soon with Bayern Munich.

As things stand, Mane does not want to leave the Bundesliga side.
