Manchester United announced the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea after the 24-year old and the London side decided to stop their collaboration.
Mount himself was so excited to make the move that he announced his departure from Chelsea even before the club on Tuesday evening on social media.
“I feel you deserve more than just a written statement. So I wanted to tell you directly how grateful I’ve been for all of your support over the last 18 years”, he said.

“I know some of you won’t be happy with my decision, but it’s [leaving] what is right for me at this moment in my career.”
The wait is finally over as Manchester United announced his arrival with a short video on social media.
“The excitement is mounting”, Man United captioned the video.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal costed Red Devils more than €60m.
Mason Mount will sign a five-year deal until June 2028 with a further year in option (2029).
