DStv Premiership side Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of South African midfielder Lesedi Kapinga on a free transfer for the next three seasons.
The 28-year old was a free agent since being released by Mamelodi Sundowns amid poor performances.
Kapinga failed to replicate his stellar displays at Black Lepoards which earned him that move to the Chloorkop-based side.
After playing mostly as a substitute or even being left in the stands, Kapinga has been released by Sundowns this summer. But he has now found himself a new home where to relaunch his career.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Lesedi Kapinga ahead of the 2023/24 season”, the Bucks wrote in a statement.
“The 28-year-old attacking midfielder, who recently played for Bafana Bafana in the COSAFA Cup, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal.”
Speaking after completing the move, Kapinga said : “I am pleased to join the Club,”
“I’m not much of a talker because talk is cheap. All I’m focused on is to start training and working my way back to playing the game I love.”
