Nigerian Players abroad Orlando Pirates Management Sets To Offload Ndah, Others

Olisa Ndah, a Nigerian Super Eagles defender, is set to leave South African Premier League giant Orlando Pirates after the club’s management agreed to a massive clear out at the end of the season.

After helping Akwa United win the league, the lanky defender joined the Soweto giant in 2020.

He played for the club in the Confederation Cup final against RS Berkane the following year before suffering a long-term injury.

Ndah returned in January 2023, but he has yet to secure regular playing time under new manager Jose Riveiro.

According to the South African news outlet Phakaaati, several players who are unhappy with the coach will have to leave at the end of the season.

Ndah was named alongside Goodman Mosele, Ben Motshwari, Fortune Makaringe, Collins Makgaka, Eva Nga, and Souaibou Marou.

The bosses don’t want to have a big squad where some players will end up just getting paid without playing,” the statement said.
