Zamalek is knocked out of the Arab Club Champions Cup following their 1-1 draw against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr on Thursday afternoon at King Fahd Stadium.

The Egyptian side had 3 points before the game and was compelled to win in order to advance to the next round while a draw would be enough for Al-Nassr.

And Ahmed Sayed put the White Knights on the right way in the 56th minute by opening the scoring from the spot.

Zamalek fans believed they were heading to the quarter-finals until Cristiano Ronaldo netted the equalizer on a header three minutes prior to the full-time.

The game ended in a disappointing stalemate as Zamalek got knocked with that 1-1 result.

Sadio Mane made his debut by coming on before the start of the second half.
