FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP Bruce Mwape : Zambia coach under FIFA investigation for “rubbing hands on a player’s chest”

FIFA is reportedly investigating on Bruce Mwape, Zambia Women’s national team coach who would have rubbed his hands on a player’s chest during the ongoing Women’s World Cup.

The 63-year old was accused of sexual misconduct before the start of the World Cup.

However, he debunked the allegations saying thay are completely falso.

But he is yet in trouble again as The Guardian revealed he misbehaved in a pre-match training session during the World Cup.

According to The British media, Bruce Mwape rubbed his hands on of of Copper Queens’ chest during their last training session ahead of their 3-1 win over Coast Rica.

Many players who witnessed the scene found it anormal and filed a complaint to FIFA.

“It’s not appropriate for a coach to be touching a player’s breasts,” a close source told The Guardian.

The Football governing body has now started investigation knowing Zambia FA president Andrew Kamanga is aware of the story.

“Fifa takes any allegation of misconduct extremely seriously and has a clear process in place for anyone in football who wants to report an incident. We can confirm that a complaint has been received in relation to the Zambian women’s national team and this is currently being investigated. We cannot provide further details regarding an ongoing investigation for obvious confidentiality reasons”, a FIFA Spokesman told the aforementioned source.
