The chairman of the club, Kanu Nwankwo, has reportedly turned his attention to the next Nigeria Premier Football League and Federation Cup following the shock elimination of Nigerian champions Enyimba International from the CAF Champions League.

The People’s Elephants were ousted from the competition 3-4 on aggregate after being held to a scoreless draw at home by Ahli Benghazi in the second leg of the match.

The former Super Eagles forward expressed disappointment at the game but noted that even a talented squad can have such setbacks in sports.
