UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE UEL: Lookman On Target As Atalanta Share Spoils With Sturm Graz

Ademola Lookman, a forward for the Super Eagles, was in action on Thursday when Atalanta defeated Sturm Graz 2-2 on the road in Group D of the Europa League.


In the 63rd minute, Lookman, who was in the starting 11, was changed.

Sturm Graz’s first goal came from Prass in the 13th minute, and Muriel tied the score at 1 in the 34th.
Seven minutes of added time in the first half saw Muriel score from the penalty spot for Atalanta, giving them a 2-1 lead.

After Hierlander was sent off after 52 minutes, Sturm Graz was down to 10 men.

Wlodarczyk equalised for Sturm Graz from the penalty spot in the 80th minute, despite having a man sent off.

With three games played and seven points, Atalanta is leading the group.

Rangers forced Sparta Prague to a scoreless draw in Group C.

Cyriel Dessers struck blanks, unable to repeat his scoring prowess from the previous weekend.

Leon Balogun did not even make the roster for the trip, therefore he did not play for the Rangers.

The man leading Rangers’ attack, Dessers, was replaced in the 74th minute by Danilo.
Rangers are bottom of the group with four points as a result of the draw.
