Kenya Shabana will rise again despite Bandari defeat – says patron Nyamweya

Shabana FC suffered their fifth defeat of the season after going down 2-1 against Bandari in an FKF Premier League fixture at Mbaraki Sports Club on Sunday.

According to patron Sam Nyamweya, the team performed well and will get better soon as per the statement below:

Shabana will rise again, this afternoon our team performed exceptionally though going down 2-1 against Bandari FC of Mombasa. The display at the to-capacity Mbaraki grounds saw our boys exhibit improved play at the pitch in a game that was also graced by the President of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Wallace Karia.

He travelled to Mombasa to watch the match applauding Shabana for their fight and play. He reckoned the fan base saying the team has a great future and the recent poor results posted should not dim the hopes of the management and fans.

I would like to thank the fans who travelled from across the country to come and watch the same. Despite the loss, we should hold our heads high for a good display. We have noted a few technical challenges that the team faces including funding which we shall sit as stakeholders and address.

I call upon our dedicated fan base to remain hopeful and look into the future which looks bright for the team. I want to thank the coach and the technical bench for their dedication to sharpening the players. I want you to know that you have our unwavering support. Thank and wish all the fans journey mercies as they travel back. We look forward to the next match with the hope of a resounding victory.

Hon. Sam Nyamweya, FKF President Emeritus and Patron, Shabana.
