Attacker Shedrack Asiegbu of Rivers United stated that they are sure to win their match against Dream FC of Ghana on Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup.

To build on their first-game triumph, the Nigerian team will host the debutant on Sunday at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

According to Asiegbu, every member of the team is aware of the stakes and is prepared to give the game their all.

“We are confident of getting a point here, we started on a winning note and we are optimistic that we will get it right here.

“Even in our training, everyone shows seriousness because they know how important the game is, our heads are up and we know what we need from this game“, he said.

Rivers United defeated APC do Lobito 3-0 in their opening game in Nigeria.
