Super Eagles head coach,Jose Peseiro has confirmed that the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Paul Onuachu have arrived Abidjan to join the rest of the squad for the 2023 AFCON.
Peseiro confirmed the arrival of the players arrived in his pre-match Conference ahead of Super Eagles Group A opener against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
Iheanacho was a doubt after Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca said he was still not fit after he sustained an injury.
Paul Onuachu was a late call up to the squad after Sadiq Umar was ruled out of the AFCON 2023 due to injury.
Onuachu was in action for Trabsonspor on Friday night and provided an assist their hard earned 1-0 win against Antayalspor.
Peseiro did not confirm of both players would be available for the game against Equatorial-Guinea.
Also Terem Moffi is expected to join the squad on Sunday morning.
