Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has his say on tonight’s clash against Bayern Munich predicting a tough game for both sides but with his former club coming out as winner.

Zidane is a Real Madrid legend both as player and coach.

The 51-year old won the Champions League title for Los Blancos in 2002 against AC Milan as a player and did it three times as a coach between 2016 and 2018.

The 1998 Ballon d’or is till date the only manager to have achived such a feat in the tournament.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s game, he said : “The clashes we’ve had with Bayern have always been very nice games”, Zidane told The Athletic.

“They are the games we always want to play, because Bayern are also competitive and very, very strong. It’s not going to be easy. It has the status of a European classic. But at the same time, Madrid are Madrid”
