Nigerian forward Victor Boniface addressed rumors sending him away from Bayer Leverkusen making it clear that all of his focus is on the German side.

The 23-year old has been instrumental for Xabi Alonso’s side in his first season with them.

Boniface helped Leverkusen to clinch their first-ever Bundesliga title and qualify for the UEFA Europa League semi-final as well as the German Cup final.

With the summer transfer window coming closer, he is being monitored by some European clubs but the Super Eagle does not intend to leave Leverkusen.

“Right now my full focus is on Leverkusen and being ready to try and achieve more good things with the club”, he told AFP.

He is waiting for next season and the participation in the Champions League which he expects “will be one of the proudest moments for me.”

Victor Boniface has 18 goals and 10 in 30 appearances across all competitions to his name. And he is not done yet.
