Super Eagles midfielder Nathan Tella has pulled out of the squad ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
Tella was among the players invited by Super Eagles Head Coach Finidi George ahead of the games.
According to a X post on the official account of the Super Eagles, the Bayer Leverkusen player decided to pull out due to family reasons.

He has also been replaced by Caykur Rizespor player, Ibrahim Olawoyin.

The Super Eagles camp is expected this come alive in Uyo as players and officials are expected to arrive this weekend ahead of the crucial games.
