Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Rangers Vs Enyimba Game Abandoned After Fans Invade Pitch

In Week 35 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the Rangers vs Enyimba game was abandoned due to a late penalty call in favour of the Flying Antelopes.

Sunday’s Oriental Derby game was a title decider, with Rangers leading the league standings (60 points) and Enyimba trailing by two points.

Fans had gathered in large numbers for the hotly contested match, and everything was going well.

However, with the game deadlocked at zero, the referee pointed to the spot late in the game and awarded Rangers a penalty.

Enyimba players disputed the decision.

While efforts were made to resume play, the game became chaotic after some supporters invaded the pitch, spoiling the much-anticipated event.
