While governor Silval Barbosa, had pledged to finish the work on time, the local government has confirmed that the Arena Pantanal that must accommodate four matches of World Cup 2014 in Cuiaba, could not be delivered on time.

According to O Globo, all stadium seats will be installed in time, ie for May 21, when the facilities were officially handed over to Fifa, which manages them during the competition.
