Nigeria Premier League NPFL To Embark On One Month Break After Matchday 32

This weekend’s matchday 32 games will mark the start of the Nigeria Premier Football League’s one-month hiatus.

Rivers United, the defending champions, needed four weeks off to wrap up their amazing matches, according to the League’s administrator.

Because they are on a continental tour, Rivers United presently has five outstanding matches.

Following a 2-1 aggregate loss to USM Algiers in the quarterfinals, the Port Harcourt-based team was eliminated from the CAF Confederation.

On Thursday, Katsina United was trounced 2-0 by Rivers United.

Currently, with 40 points from 26 games, they are ranked 12th in the NPFL rankings.

If they win all five of their remaining games, they will overthrow Rangers at the top of the log.

This week will mark the conclusion of Week 32 matchups. The league shall reconvene on May 25, 2024.
