We now know the CAF (African Football Confederation) General Assembly date. The meeting will take place on 12 March 2021 in Morocco.

This was one of the decisions of the CAF Executive Committee meeting on Thursday. It is therefore the Cheririfian Kingdom that will host the next elective General Assembly.

For the moment, no candidate is officially declared. The only one who declared himself was the Egyptian Amr Fahmy but died last February. People suspect his compatriot Hani Abo Rida, Tunisian Tarek Bouchamaoui and Wadii Jarii to be potential candidates.

Moreover, Ahmad, the current president, has still not decided yet.

Potential candidates have until 23 November to make their decision.
