AFCON 2021 AFCONQ – Ghana : CK Akonnor names 24-man local-based squad

Ghana Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor has revealed a 24-man squad of local-based players for the matchday 5 and 6 of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.

The Black Stars will take on South Africa on March 25 for the return leg after beating the Bafana Bafana last November by 2-0.

That game will be important as it result will determine the team who goes top of the Group C.

Then the Black Stars will further take on Sao Tome and Prince on March 28. Only Mubarak Wakaso and Emmanuel Boateng who both played in China, are the abroad players to be named by Charles Akonnor.
