Confederation of African football (CAF) has approved the request of Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot) to have 25 000 fans for their decisive encounter against Ivory Coast for their last game in these 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday.

The Indomitable lions will host Elephants for the decider in Group D as the team guided by Patrice Beaumelle is currently on top with one point ahead of Antonio Conceiçao’s side.

With Cameroon looking for a ticket to make it through to the play-offs in order to make their eight participation in World Cup history.

And Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and teammates will have the support of 25 000 of their fans at the Japoma Stadium as reported by Kick442. The condition for these fans is to show a negative Covid-19 test.

To achieve their objective, Cameroon need to win at all cost while a draw is all Ivory Coast need to qualify for the last round.

Indomitable lions have only a loss in these World Cup African qualifiers and it was in Abidjan against Elephants (2-1).

They’ll’ not only have an occasion to take their revenge on the West African side on Tuesday, November 16, but also ended well the year as this is their last competitive game ahead of the AFCON 2021 that they will host from January 2022.
