Nigerian Players abroad Transfer: West Ham United Makes Late Move For Aina

The Super Eagles’ Ola Aina has received a $4 million offer from West Ham United, plus $4 million in bonuses.

Aina lost his starting spot at Serie A club Torino last season, and he has since been linked with a move back to the Premier League.

After returning from representing Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, the adaptable defender who played frequently for the Turin-based team during the first half of last season lost his spot.

However, the 25-year-old has restored his spot in the starting lineup this season.

Torino wants a total of €10m for his permanent exit after rejecting West Ham United’s bid.

It is still unknown if West Ham would raise their offer before Thursday, when the summer transfer window closes.

Aina had spent time on loan with the team before joining Torino from Chelsea on a permanent basis in 2019.
