Lionel Messi received a huge €400m annual salary to leave Europe amid rumors sending him back to former club FC Barcelona in Spain.
The 35-year old’s current contract will run out by June with Paris Saint-Germain.
And according to French outlet L’Equipe, he is likely to leave at the end of the season.

So far, many Spanish reports are linking him with a return FC Barcelona with the club’s coach Xavi being keen to wlecome him back.
However, the Financial Fair-Play could be an obstacle for the deal to happen.
Amid all these rumors, Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that Saudi Pro League side made an offer worth more than €400m of annual salary to Lionel Messi.
This offer will make of him the highest-paid footballer ever ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and his €200m salary with Al-Nassr.
However, the 35-year old’s stance is continue in Europe.
