Newcastle remembered the late Christian Atsu by posting a video of the former Black Stars’ winner for the Magpies in 2017 in an interesting game against Andre Ayew’s West Ham United.
Atsu was just on fire that December 23, 2017.
The former Ghanaian striker assisted Mohammed Diamé’s goal in the 53rd minute as he gave a 2-1 lead to Newcastle.

After bagging that lovely assist, Christian wrote his name on the scoresheet by increasing the lead for Newcastle (63 minutes).
Andre Ayew reduced the scoreline six minutes later for the Hammers but, Atsu’s goal emerged as the winner for Newcastle (3-2).
The club posted the video on social media in memory of Christian Atsu who died in February under the rubbles of the Turkish earthquake.
