Africa Soccer Caf Confederation Cup: Yanga SC to face USM Alger in final

Tanzania champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) will come up against USM Alger of Algeria in the final of the Caf Confederation Cup on May 28.

The Timu ya Mwananchi reached their first-ever final in a Caf competition after defeating South Africa’s Marumo Gallants 2-1 in the return leg fixture at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday.

Goals from Fiston Mayele and Kennedy Musonda in either half of the duel ensured that Yanga stormed the final on a 4-1 aggregate result since they had won the first leg at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium 2-0 a fortnight ago.
