Real Madrid centre-back David Alab met Nigerian president Ahmed Bola Tinubu in France and gifted him a signed jersey of the Spanish club.

President Tinubu was in France this week for the Global Financial Pact Summit organized by Emmanuel Macron.

He then met Nigerians living in the country during his journey and a surprise invitee was among them.

Indeed, Real Madrid superstar David Alaba who was in France for the Fashion Week also attended the meeting and even gave president Tinubu a jersey.

Alaba was born in Vienna, Austria to Nigerian parents.

His father is a prince of Ogere Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria.

However, he did not represent Super Eagles at international level as he chose Austria where he has 15 goals in 101 caps. This gesture means he is connected to his root.
