Joseph Atule has joined Nigeria National League NNL promotion-seekers Katsina United after leaving Lobi Stars.
Atule, who was rumored to be moving to Rivers United last week, has proven why he’s one of the most sought-after players in the Nigerian Premier League right now.
Recall that during the Naija Super 8 playoff match versus City FC in Eket, he scored a memorable goal to spare Lobi Stars’ face.

Atule agreed to join his former club Katsina United for an undisclosed fee for a short spell.
The former playmaker and goal machine for Lobi Stars, who contributed ten (10) goals in the just finished NPL season, is about to agree to a two-year deal with the Chanji Boys.
The Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 playoff, which is slated to take place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba from July 1 through July 7, is thought to be the only event that the contract will cover.
Samson Olasupo of Sunshine Stars is also affiliated with Katsina United on a temporary basis as Katsina United strives to rejoin the Nigeria Premier Football League.
