Uganda Done Deal: URA FC unveil eighth signing in Namanya

Ugandan Premier League side URA FC have continued to beef up their squad with the acquisition of Norman Namanya.

In a statement on the club’s official website, it stated: “URA FC is delighted to announce the addition of Norman Namanya to the club,” adding: “The attacking midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the club from Entebbe FC.”

What did Namanya say: “I am extremely excited to join such a big club like URA FC. It’s something very big in my career as it will also be my first time playing in the Uganda Premier League.

“I know it won’t be easy for me given the quality of players here but I will extremely work hard as I wait to grab my chance. I already feel at home as everyone welcomed me well and I want to help the team get results and win silverware as well as improve myself to the next level, thanks to the club management for trusting me.”

Atwoochi is a Tooro born and also a strong pillar in the Tooro Province team in the Fufa Drum and becomes the eighth signing after teenagers Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani, and Godfrey Sekibengo as well as Aliro Moses Okabo, Ibrahim Wammanah, and custodian Denis Otim.
