Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said the club’s forward Kylian Mbappe deserves to win Ballon d’or 2023.
The 24-year old scored 41 goals and provided 10 assists in 43 appearances last season with PSG.
He won the 2022 World Cup Golden boot with 8 goals ahead of Lionel Messi 7)but lost the trophy to the Argentina skipper.

Having already scored 8 goals in 5 games so far this season, Mbappe is seen as a Ballon d’or 2023 contender by his president.
“We have the best player in the world and for me he deserves the Ballon d’Or”, he told reporters on Saturday.
“The problems we had [in pre-season] stay in the family and Kylian is part of the family.
I’m proud of what he’s doing and what the whole team is doing.”
Ballon d’or 2023 will be awarded on October 30 in Paris, France with Mbappe being among the favourites alongisde Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi.
