FIFA World Cup Samatta to lead Tanzania squad for Niger, Morocco matches

Tanzania coach Adel Amrouche has named the Taifa Stars squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

The East African nation will face Niger and Morocco in Group E of the qualifiers and they have summoned captain Mbwana Samatta, who features for PAOK FC in Greece.

Tanzania full squad: Goalkeepers: Beno Kakolanya (Singida FG), Aboutwalib Mshery, Metacha Mnata (Young Africans) and Kesi Kawawa (Karlslenden, Sweden).

Defenders: Dickson Job, Bakari Mwamnyeto, Ibrahim Abdullah, Nickson Kibabage (Young Africans), Lusajo Mwaikenda, Edward Manyama (Azam FC), Haji Mnoga (Aldershot Town, England), Abdi Banda (Richards Bay, South Africa), Novatus Miroshi (Shakhtar Donetsk, Ukraine), Edwin Balua (Tanzania Prisons), Abdulmalik Zakaria (Namungo FC) and Omary Mvungi (Nantes, France).

Midfielders: Ibrahim Joshua (Tusker FC, Kenya), Mzamiru Yassin (Simba SC), Sospeter Bajana (Azam FC), Baraka Majogoro (Chippa United, South Africa), Mudathir Yahaya (Young Africans), Morice Abraham (FK Spartak, Serbia), Himid Mao (Talaea El Gaish, Egypt) and Ladaki Chisambi (Mtibwa Sugar).
