With a win and a trip to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup, Rivers United general manager Okey Kpalukwu has promised to make Nigerians proud.

In their last group match of the CAF Confederation Cup, Rivers United will play Dreams FC of Ghana at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo.

He claims that all of the club’s members are working towards making Nigerians happy and that Rivers United represents the aspirations of the whole country.

“Rivers United carries the hopes of a Nation and we are not unaware of the responsibility thrust upon us.

“Everyone at Rivers United is moving in the same direction and we desire to win convincingly against Dreams in Uyo on Sunday to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.”

Rivers United need at least 1-0 to go through to the quarterfinal while Dreams FC need just one point.
