Carney Chukwuemeka has returned to Chelsea from international duty early.
The midfielder was called up to the England U21 side for the first time earlier this month for games against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg, but wasn’t used in the former and will now miss the latter having returned to Cobham.
Chukwuemeka returned early to work on his fitness at Cobham, as he looks to play a key role in the remainder of the season for Chelsea as Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues look for a strong end to the campaign.
