The Remo Stars’ Daniel Ogunmodede has praised his team’s tenacity in their 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance in an NPFL match on match day 27.

Following their derby loss against 3SC in Ibadan, Ogunmodede claimed that his players were under pressure to score as many points as possible.

He expressed his gratitude for them being important factors in the match and their desire to return to winning ways.

“I just make sure I go for the three points. Every game comes with a different situation, and different moments.

“Maybe in the last three games it was like this. That is what the game entails.

“Most times you have no control over these things. The players have shown that they are key determinants in the game.

“Coming from a ground where we lost to 3SC the last time, you know how painful this could be to us and the players want to get back to their winning ways. For me, they were a little bit under pressure. The most important thing is how they deal with the pressure which they did well.”
