Nigeria FIFA WCQ:Finidi Releases 23-Man Squad For South Africa, Togo Game

Finidi George has selected a squad of 23 players to compete against South Africa and Benin Republic in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

Maduka Okoye, the team’s goalkeeper, returns, while Remo Stars defender Sadiq Ismael is called up for the first time.

Nigeria will play South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7th at 8 p.m., before flying to Abidjan to face Benin Republic at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Monday, June 10th at 4 p.m. CIV time (5 p.m. Nigeria time).
