Acheampong Ben, the former Kotoko footballer who joined Angola side in January has won his first trophy with Petro Atletico on Saturday as they won the 2013 Angolan Super Cup.
Acheampong created the chances which helped his side score both goals at the tie. His side who won the 2012 Angolan Cup drew 1 – 1 with league champions CRD Libolo with a 2 – 1 to win.
“I am very happy for this victory. It is not easy joining a team and winning two titles in three weeks,” Acheampong told Joy Sports.
“This is the beginning of many more victories to come. I will want to win this year’s league with Petro Atletico and also hope to finish the season as the top scorer,” Ben Acheampong said.
