The coach of the Indomitable Lions will not tolerate any lack in his schedule for the next match of Cameroon. Then he recalled most players who declined his invitation in a friendly match against Tanzania at the beginning of last month, Jean-Paul Akono warned:
“I called the players who I think are the most competitive today and all those who do not show up this time will never be called into the national team as long as I remain the coach. “That is clear.
Among those mentioned, Captain Samuel Eto’o also still maintains doubt on his participation in the match against Togo. Nkoulou Nicolas, Alexandre Song, Jean Makoun, Achille Emana and Joel Matip are also involved.
“We have done our best to solve disputes between some players and the federation. Players should be aware that when they are called, it is in the service of the nation and not a particular person, “said Akono.
Several Lions had shunned a friendly match against Tanzania last February 6. Akono, whose future is dotted mission, is to bring home the 2014 World Cup after the Lions Cameroon has missed two consecutive finals of Afcon.
