The draw of the Champions League and the CAF Cup will take place on May 14 at the headquarters of CAF in Cairo from 14 hours. The draws will be in a module provided by CAF.

“(…) the draw for the group matches of the 17th Edition of the League of Orange Champions League of CAF – CL 2013 and the group stage of the 10th edition of the Orange Confederation Cup of CAF – the 2013 CC will be held on May 14, 2013 at the headquarters of CAF in Cairo 14h. The eight teams eliminated in the knockouts of the Champions League are qualified automatically to the second knockouts of the Confederation Cup [whose draw will be held on May 7, 2013]. “

“The eight teams qualified for the group stage of the Champions League will be divided into two groups of four. The seeded clubs in each group will be determined by the Commission based the results recorded by the teams which participated in previous editions of the CAF club competitions. The other six teams will be divided into two groups at the end of a draw or in the classification determined by the Commission”.
