Football Brazil : Ronaldinho is back home with the Auriverdes

After a year’s absence, Ronaldinho returns to Brazil team.

Scolari guided Brazil to their 2002 World Cup triumph with Ronaldinho a prominent figure in the side.

And the 32-year-old believes he has a chance of forcing his way back into the reckoning now the ex-Chelsea boss is in charge.

“I have always believed I can help the national team,” Ronaldinho told Placar after being awarded the Golden Ball as the best player in the Brazilian league.

“I like Scolari a lot so I think I can indeed return to the team.”

Ronaldinho has enjoyed an upturn in fortunes in recent times during an impressive spell back in his homeland with Atletico Mineiro.

“I bounced back in those last five months,” he added.

“That was always my goal. The way I left Flamengo wasn’t the best. People made up a lot of things about me.”
