Romeo Beckham is now set to follow in the footsteps of his father by becoming a professional footballer. Romeo has reportedly signed for Arsenal, after revealing his dream on his Instagram page earlier this month. The 10 year old boy has been snapped up by Arsenal’s academy who will be hoping that his sporting genes are inherited from his dad.

David Beckham and his family were shown on television at Arsenal’s most recent Premiership match against Tottenham, where young Romeo got a chance to see the Gunners down the new-look Spurs 1-0 in the north London derby. The report indicates that Wenger met with David’s son after the match to present him with a shirt with his name on the back, adding to the glamour for the ten year old.
