The poster Nigeria-Ethiopia of the day almost created the most horrible surprise we would witness since the beginning of World Cup Brazil 2014 first leg meetings yesterday (October 12, 2013).

Nigeria let the Waliya Antelopes of Ethiopia take good control of the first half of the meeting. They dared let them open the scoring through a goal seemingly unacceptable by Assefa in the 57th minute. But slow motion shows the goal was really scored.

Nigeria’s Emmanuel Emmenike of Fenerbahce in Turkey save the honor of  African champions by restoring parity ten minutes later. The 89th minute was right time for the striker to prove supremacy to Ethiopians by transforming a penalty on himself.

Ethiopia lost at home to Nigeria 1-2.
