Chelsea defender John Terry has expressed his pride over his remarkable 400th league appearance for Chelsea with a goal on Sunday.
Terry celebrated his goal that contributed in the Blues’ 3-1 win over Southampton to seal the second spot behind arsenal in the Premier League.
The Blues’ goals from Gary Cahill, Terry and substitute Demba Ba turned into nothingness the opener of Jay Rodriguez for Saints on a defending mistake of Michael Essien.
“It’s very significant for me. It’s a huge achievement to maintain it at a top club like I have,” Terry told Sky Sports of his 400th league game.

“I’m very proud of that. I’m thankful for the fans as well for sticking by me and the club as well. Hopefully there’s many more to come this season and maybe next.”
