Ole & Hop are the mascots of the World Cup FIBA basketball, Spain 2014. The name of the official mascots of the World Cup 2014 originated from the spectacular action game of basketball: alley-oop.
The design is inspired from the logo of the competition especially the hand. Ole Hop therefore represent two hands. In addition to the logo, they also refer to the slogan of the Spanish FIFA World Cup En Tus Manos-In-Your Hands.
The World Cup will take place from August 30 to September 14. Sunday, FIBA has made the development of the different pots which result from the six groups of the competition whose draw will be made on Monday.
