George Weah played for Paris Saint-Germain player before becoming Liberia’s president. Tonight, his heart will necessarily be on the side of the Ile-de-France club. 

When asked about the final between PSG and Bayern Munich, Weah believes that a victory for Ile-de-France is necessary.

“It’s a very pleasant feeling to see PSG at this stage. They deserve it. We must congratulate President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and his team. There is work behind it and I hope the time has come to reap the rewards, ” he first reacted in the JDD, before continuing. “But the task promises to be tough as Bayern is used to these big meetings. For Munich, it would be just one more title in a collection. While PSG are really playing for their history, they need this trophy, to seize this opportunity. A great club is first and foremost a record ”.
