Transfer window Youcef Belaili – Algerian midfielder could leave Al Ahli

Youcef Belaili

Youcef Belaili could leave Arabian side Al Ahli to Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly after declarations of his father over his future.

A season after arriving at Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia, the Algerian midfielder is expected to leave. In total disagreement with his leaders , the African champion is about to try a new challenge at 28 years old. And this next destination would be none other than the Cairo National. A track confirmed by Hafid Belaili, father and agent of the player.

“ Official talks have taken place with Al-Ahly through the club’s transfer manager, Amir Tawfik. The player still has a contract with Al-Ahli (until June 2022, note) and we respect our agreement with the Saudi side. Al-Ahly are a great club and it would be an honor for Youcef to play for them, but the transfer is tied to the acceptance of Al-Ahli. Because they rejected the idea of loaning it, ”he said in remarks relayed by Kingfut .

But to sign to Al Ahly of Egypt, the leaders of Al Ahli must give their consent. This is what is delaying the finalization of this operation.

“ Things will be decided soon. We are waiting for Al-Ahli’s decision to keep Youcef Belaïli or sell him to Al-Ahly. Esperance Tunis (where Belaïli played between 2012 and 2014, then in 2018-2019) and other Egyptian clubs (Pyramids FC and Zamalek) have negotiated with us but Al-Ahly is the most serious team ”, he concluded.

Under contract until 2022 with the Saudi club, Youcef Belaili will have to change tune this summer.
