Ghana Black Stars to undergo mandatory Covid-19 tests ahead of Sudan clash

Ghana’s Black Stars will undergo Covid-19 tests on Tuesday ahead of their clash against Sudan (Thursday) as mandated by Confederation of African Football (CAF).

CK Akonnor’s men reported to camp on Monday morning in Accra with 10 players. Ayew brothers, Razak Abalora, John Antwi, Samuel Owusu and others who took part in the first training session.

On Tuesday morning, Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the increasing of the team to 16 as Baba Abdul Rahman, Alexander Djiku, John Boye, Christopher Nettey, Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Caleb Ekuban joined camp.

The team and all the officials will undergo the Covid-19 before they depart for Cape Coast later in the day.

In addition, Black Stars will take on Sudan for the first leg of 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday, November 12.
