Nigeria Rivers United Is Confident To See Through Futuro Kings-Eguma

River United head coach Stanley Eguma is confident his players performance at the ongoing Governor Wike Cup prepared them ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup.
Rivers United on Monday to dig deep before they defeated Ottasolo FC 1-0 courtesy of a 75th minute penalty scored by Ifeanyi Anaemena.

Eguma while speaking after the game said the performance will assist his team to build a more formidable team before their CAF Confederation Cup.

“A victory like this builds confidence in the team and it’s a continuous improvement and I believe the competition will help build a formidable side.”

“Rivers United is confident to see through their Equatorial Guinea counterpart Futuro Kings in the CAF Confederation Cup when they meet.”

 “The way we are working hard I believe we will get it right and it should also helps us when we meet Rangers International of Enugu during the league opening match here in Port Harcourt,” He said.

Rivers United will begin their CAFCC campaign against Equatorial Guinea side Futuro Kings.

The first leg will be played November 27-29 with Rivers playing away.

Then they will host their opponent December 4-6 2020.
