Al Ahly General manager Samy Komsan charges the players to do their best to return to the FIFA Club World Cup the next year.
The Red Devils have worthily represented Africa in Qatar with a third-place finish as they beat Palmeiras.
So far, the Cairo-based outfit have started their CAF Champions league title defence with a win over Sudanese champions Al-Merrikh last weekend (3-0).
And Komsan hailed the players’ mindset and asked them to give it all in order to return to the champions’ competition next year.

“We are satisfied with the team’s performance in the FIFA Club World Cup, but between, the technical staff, we were not happy with the Bayern Munich match,” he told OnSports TV, per KingFut.
“But the players had their excuses and we benefited a lot from them. Mosimane discussed with Hans Flick a possible coexistence period.
“We all agreed that we should return to the World Cup again next season, and I thank the players for winning the bronze medal.
“They honored the club and the African continent,” he concluded.
